President & Executive Director
Fernando Velasco
Fernando Velasco is a former NFL player, a passionate advocate for athlete development, and the founder of The Velasco Family Foundation. Currently, he serves as the Director of Player Engagement for the Atlanta Falcons Football Team. In this role, Fernando champions the personal development of players, focusing on areas such as business and financial literacy, relationship management, mental health and wellness, and ongoing education opportunities. He joined the Falcons in 2022.
With more than six years of experience in professional and student-athlete development, Fernando brings a unique perspective to his role. Prior to the Falcons, he was the Director of Player Development at the University of Arkansas and the Assistant Director of Player Development at his alma mater, The University of Georgia. In these positions, he bridged the gap between athletics and academics, supported recruiting efforts, and fostered community connections. Fernando's commitment extends to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, expanding community outreach, and ensuring support for athletes and their families throughout their collegiate journeys.

Kamille Velasco is an experienced and results-oriented account leader with over 12 years in merchandising and enterprise sales. She excels in cultivating client relationships, developing strategic business plans, and exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
Kamille's track record of developing successful sales and business plans demonstrates the ability to set clear goals, align resources, and execute strategies effectively. A crucial element when being responsible for guiding the foundation's mission and objectives.
Her experience analyzing market trends and KPIs translates to data-driven decision-making, ensuring the foundation's investments and initiatives achieve their intended impact.
