The Velasco Family Foundation exists to empower youth, individuals, and families with the support, experiences, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Founded by Fernando and Kamille Velasco, the Foundation is rooted in a simple belief: when people are supported, encouraged, and given access to the right resources, they are better equipped to recognize their potential and build purposeful futures.
That belief is deeply personal. Throughout their own lives, Fernando and Camille have experienced the impact of mentorship, faith, family, education, and community. The Velasco Family Foundation was created as a way to extend that same support to others—creating opportunities for young people and families to feel seen, supported, and prepared for what comes next.

Grounded in unity, equity, and service, the Foundation works to ensure people have access to the tools, support, and opportunities needed to thrive and lead purposeful lives.
Our Purpose
We believe preparing people for the future requires more than a single program or moment of inspiration. It requires meaningful relationships, safe spaces, practical tools, and people who are willing to invest in their potential.
Through immersive youth development experiences, mentorship, mental wellness programming, community engagement, and service, the Velasco Family Foundation creates opportunities for people to grow in confidence, strengthen their sense of purpose, and become better prepared for life.
Our work currently comes to life through the Life Ready Retreat, our flagship three-day leadership experience for middle and high school boys, and the Life Ready Tour, a speaking and community engagement initiative that brings messages of leadership, resilience, mental wellness, and purpose directly to young people in communities.
